Low interest rate ag loans are available to all 4-H and FFA members. These loans are designed to help students finance their market animal projects. All of the students create a business plan and fill out a loan application. Once they repay their loan, we will report to the credit bureau, and they will receive a credit score.
This fantastic program is designed to help 4-H and FFA members establish credit before they turn 18! The program also teaches them how to create a business plan, how to apply for a loan; fill out loan documents, and the importance of responsibility when they pay back the loan.
4-H and FFA members who have had an ag loan for several years have great credit and have learned a valuable lesson about financial responsibility. As Northern California’s only consumer Credit Union exclusively serving the agricultural community, we are proud to offer the 4-H and FFA members and their families the chance to finance their market projects and learn the importance of financial responsibility with our youth ag loans.
Annual $1,000 scholarships are available to college age youth interested in pursuing a career in agriculture or a related field. Find out more about our scholarship program.
